Behind the Music

The story of “A Rusty Kingdom” connected with me for many reasons — First, I am a Dutchman myself. I’m close to the North Sea, and it was the first body of water I ever saw. But, most importantly, I felt connected to the story as an artist. I strongly identified with the idea of Sealand as an island for everyone built out of a dream, love and passion, because that’s what I always strive to achieve with my music.

As such, my music for this project expresses the emotions I felt in certain situations or at special points in time. I want my music to help people step into the moment and forget about their daily problems and difficult situations they may be going through. By getting into a trance or just simply entering into a more beautiful and happy state of mind, listeners will be able to better deal with their struggles.

About Radion6

It is easy to see why Radion6 is so in tune with the world-famous DJ and producer Armin van Buuren and is on his Armada Music label, which was voted “Best Global Record Label” five years in a row. Armin is described as “a man driven by an unbridled and relentless passion for music… as one of the world’s most popular DJs, he has always remained a down-to-earth guy. Radion6 shares that passion and down-to-earth attitude, and like Armin, he is clocking up a track record of achievements that mean he has to be noticed. Radion6 is already a world-leading, crowd-pleasing, unmissable Dutch Trance DJ and Producer. An overnight success from the moment his breakthrough release “The Serengeti” on Spinnin’ Records/Oxygen, took off. Well-known for his creativity, quality originals, inspired remixes and imaginative production styles, Radion6 has a powerful track record of outstanding releases on labels including A State Of Trance, Armind, Armada Captivating, Flashover and High Contrast.
