About Matthieu Faubourg

Matthieu Schrobiltgen, better known as his stage name, Matthieu Faubourg, was born in Lagny-sur-Marne, a Parisian suburb where he lived for 6 years until moving to Burgundy with his mother and brother. After graduation, Matthieu lived in Zurich, Hamburg, Barcelona and Vienna. He also has a long list of international performance locations including 17 European countries and Lebanon, Canada, and Georgia. His career really started when Matthieu worked in Hamburg, Germany, where he started going clubbing and getting more into electronic music. Matthieu says DJing was never a prior goal in his life, it just 'kinda naturally happened' after going through his mom’s old CDs. Matthieu is most inspired by alternative rock music, and classical music due to his grandparents, who also had a large influence on his taste and sound.

This reporting touches on a diversity of abuses ranging from illegal and overfishing, arms trafficking at sea, human slavery, gun running, intentional dumping, murder of stowaways, thievery of ships and other topics.
