Behind the Music

I always like to layer eerie and otherworldly touches into my music, which is why the chapter ‘The Lone Patrol’ served as the biggest inspiration for me when crafting my tracks. Reading about the crimes taking place against the backdrop of the secluded tropical landscape of Palau painted an interesting juxtaposition for me of a sinisterly idyllic place. This realm was intriguing to explore through music. More than that, I felt a deep connection with the struggles of the people in the Palau region and any people of a region close to the sea. Being from Leiden, a small city in the Netherlands, I understand the war against water from a land perspective and can empathize with the constant battles it brings.
